I got one hell of a surprise today! Since Wayne Phifer and I built my rear bumper with both a spare tire carrier and cooler rack, and I also got a 7” travel bike with an atypical frame, I’ve had trouble lugging my bike around. Most of the bike rack/carrier companies in the US don’t make racks that fit both 4×4 rigs with aftermarket rear bumpers AND mtn bike frames with odd angles that most freeride and all mountain rigs have these days. After a couple of years of searching for a bike rack that I wanted with no luick, I recently stumbled across a thread on @ih8mud in which a Land Cruiser owner in Australia was raving about @isicarriers… Within minutes of looking through isi’s website, I knew this was the answer to all my problems!
So I contacted George at isi and sent him some pics of my rear bumper setup and he assured me their carrier would work perfectly but asked me to take some measurements…. But then a package came in the mail today with., you guessed it, a brand new @isicarriers bike carrier!

Turns out my wifey caught wind of my interest in this carrier from my brother, emailed isi, snuck outside the night before she left for Italy to take all the measurements, and got me the carrier for my upcoming birthday!!! Theere was even a “Happy Birthday” note that crossed oceans and continents taped inside the box! I felt like I was 6 years old again opening Christmas presents!

Thank you for the awesome gift and everyone at isi for getting me set up with such an awesome piece of equipment! You da best!!!
